Any queer/transgender person in need of traveling to access gender-affirming care, whether it's a doctor's consultation, surgery, relocation, or any other care that will affirm their identity, is eligible to apply.
How are you able to provide these flights?
Through our partnership with Elevated Access, we refer transgender individuals in need of gender-affirming care to their network of volunteer pilots, who generously provide private flights. Commercial airline flights are considered for special circumstances, such as when the distance between point A to B is too far for a private flight, weight exceeds private plane requirements, or when specific phobias necessitate commercial travel. You can note this in your application.
Before & During the Flight
Will I be flying alone, or can I bring a companion?
You may choose to fly alone or bring a caregiver or support person, as needed. Let us know in your application, and we will accommodate your preference.
What if I need additional accommodations during the flight?
To give everyone a chance to experience our kits, if you received a kit from the MOST RECENT restock, we kindly ask that you wait for TWO restocks before ordering another one. For example, if you ordered in January, and restocks occurred in June and July, you can reorder in September.
