I loved my BaQK, but my mom snagged it :(. While I had it, I used it frequently and I cannot recommend it enough for people who need it. It’s a nice way to know that you’re not alone and other people care.

Super grateful for the free and simple process to get gender affirming gear. A lot of things were sold out when I hopped on the form 5-10 minutes after it opened.
The bra is a little tight for me even if I picked the largest one, and I'm sure there are bigger folxs than me. Also, for the breast forms, while they feel great, the forms are too small and look odd and misshapen against my body when I wear them. I think there was only one size option, and when I wear them with the bra I got, they look more like lumps suddenly emerging from a small portion of my torso, rather than a cohesive bust look. It would be great to see if there were any larger options. Otherwise, I so appreciate the work you all are doing for the QT community!

I LOVE how I was able to combat my dysphoria. The tape helps me bind without hurting my ribs and allows my chest to look more natural on my body. Having fully gotten the hang of taping, but I'm getting there😅. The only issue with the packer is that I personally find it a bit too big and haven't figured out how to correctly position it yet. LOVE QTP and all the effort to help the trans community!

i very much like the binder i was given, but I feel like it may need some explination/criticism. the binder is almost like a tube top of an elastic material with straps attached, so there's a pretty significant difference of fabric. personally I don't mind but others may take issue with this. the material for the binder is pretty nice, its not difficult to put on like some other binders I have, nor does it give me chest or back pain, and I have worn this at an 8 hour shift of physical labor. it also doesn't roll up on me and I don't feel the need to adjust it very often, if at all. the binder did cut into my armpits a lot which was very uncomfortable. i have some sewing skills so I was able to adjust the length of the straps and I don't have that issue anymore, but I do see this as an accessibility issue (I got a 3XL and I'm usually getting a M-XL binder). on top of this, this is the best flattening effect I have gotten from any binder with little to no discomfort(once I fixed the issue of it cutting into my armpits). i would recommend this to people but point out these issues to them.

I got a foam packer, packing underwear, and a binder. I am so thankful for these as it helps me feel better in my body and these things can add up financially. It was great to be able to pick different sizes for things. Thanks again

This is such a wonderful resource for our community and I am so grateful it exists. The only issue I ran into was when the form opened (I got into it right away) the items I wanted/would be most beneficial that were in my basket were gone by the time I was able to get to check out due to having a disability that impacts the usage of my hands, and thus my ability to use technology quickly. But still grateful for this resource. Advice: if you have someone safe in in your life, have them help you with this form so you can be quick.

I got my kit two days ago, and I feel like me. I'm a 13 year old trans man (He/They/Xe), and my binder and packing boxers fit like a glove. They rock and make me feel more like the teenage boy I know I am. The discrete packaging was amazing too, as I'm not out yet. I am so grateful, Thank you QTP!!!

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with what I received. It was all free, which I absolutely appreciate, and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to receive anything at all. However, I was not totally satisfied with anything I received, except the lashes. The shape wear was difficult to get right sizing for. I wasn't sure how tight or not to go, and I ended up choosing a looser fit just to be safe. It fits but doesn't shape me as well as it could.

I'm not a fan of gold, but I was still happy to receive any jewelry as I really don't have anything. Unfortunately, the earring tip broke off pretty easily before I could wear them.

The lush items are kind of gender-neutral scented, which I appreciate, but which isn't appealing to me at all (I prefer more feminine-coded scents).

I appreciate the nails, and will likely wear them because I haven't been able to get mine done often at all, but I prefer monotone colors like black and white.

Even the eyelashes, to be honest, I probably won't wear, because I have long eyelashes. I think the eyeshadow colors are for lighter skin tones, but I'm no makeup expert.

I feel like this is just a me problem, but I don't know. I mean why else would I have an issue with everything. I think maybe it just isn't for me to receive things freely. Was hesitant to leave a review because I didn't want anyone to feel like I wasted something others might've appreciated more. It just didn't seem to work out well. Thank you, though.

Everything worked out great!!! Except the part where it said my delivery was cancelled for about a day and none of the answers in the FAQ really answered why :(. Other than that they made it to me, the sizing chart is accurate. Although I wish there were larger options for the breast forms, as a wider person I wish they actually fit my body? And there was no real telling how large they were (unless this was user error) 500cc doesn't really tell me much. The breast forms are very obviously made for skinnier people, as well as the sizing chart as a whole. As well as the fact i am relatively short so these sizing charts for other amab trans people could feel a bit exclusive if they are even a little taller and larger than me.

I will never forget the day my partner gave these to me as a gift. My bra and padding have instantly become one of my favorites. The combo is comfy enough to eat in, and I can wear it all day without feeling constricted. I don't know what else to say except thank you dearly for this act of love towards the community. I'll send you a picture of me wearing them if that's something you're interested in.

Quality products, the binder is the flattest one I’ve ever used oven though I may have measured slightly wrong

This available resource is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I am so grateful to have the opportunity to get the chance to own these unique items to better help me feel more comfortable and happier in my body all at no cost. With having such a low budget while being a college student and not having a safe home to transition, I see these build-a-queer kits as a great big step forward on to getting to the place you deserve as easy and safe, THANK YOU QT PROJECT!!!! <3

My partner and I are both trans (she’s a bit more stubborn about buying herself things to aid in her transition than I am) so I got her her own kit as a Christmas present (and ofc couldn’t wait to give it to her til now) but we’re about to go out on a date and she’s wearing a dress and feels so confident. Thank you QTP for making my gf able to wear dresses without feeling like she “looks like she robbed the deli counter”

Having the opportunity to be gifted one of these packages was one of the most gender affirming things to ever happen to me. I was able to grab a few items that I never knew I would have access to before! I had actually signed up earlier this year for a package but had missed the opportunity to get anything because I was an hour late and EVERYTHING flew off the virtual shelves. This time around, I was fortunate to get some really interesting products that I'm excited to try out. I couldn't be happier to know that resources like this for queer folks is up and running even during such unsafe times for queer people. I appreciate QTP more than I can ever put into words 🫰🏾

This honestly sounded too good to be true, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Item came fast and discreetly, the package included some more helpful information, and everything was good quality! The only thing I can recommend is that you get in early, I waited an hour after the drop and most things were sold out, but im glad others are taking advantage of the service!

The Build-A-Queer kit is amazing and I am so grateful to have gotten one. I am trans-masc and the items such as the gender grip tape and the packer+packing boxers have given me a new form of gender expression!!

Overall, I had a good experience with the QTP. The kit took a few weeks to ship, but I think that's pretty understandable considering the items were basically a preorder. I like the binder a lot, I find it to be more comfortable than the only 1-2 other companies I've used before. To me, it feels like wearing a tight/snug sock, and it doesn't hurt like some of my other binders do. The packer is ok, it's the first time I've ever had one and I kind of wish it was designed to tuck more in-between your legs. It feels a little awkward sometimes.

When I first heard about QTP's Build-a-Queer kit giveaway, it almost sounded too good to be true. I looked into the Queer Trans Project and was astonished and heartwarmed to see that this giveaway was not only real, but this is a business that has been built on the desire to support and uplift the queer community by providing easily accessible and affordable gender affirming care to queer people who may not be in positions where it is safe or even financially capable of purchasing gender affirming items. I am a trans man living with a younger trans sister who unlike me, has not yet received any gender affirming care of her own. I participated in the giveaway event to try and get her items that could make her feel more secure with herself, and I was not disappointed. Since receiving her items, I've noticed she has been significantly less depressed and felt like herself for the first time in years. The Queer Trans Project is genuinely saving and changing lives for the better.
