The Queer Trans Project is powered by LGBTQ+ individuals and allies who bring both lived experience and professional expertise to this work. We do not simply serve the community. We are part of it.

Our team spans all 50 states, from our headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida to board members, staff, and volunteers nationwide. We are organizers and educators, strategists and storytellers. We are people who understand what it means to navigate systems that were not designed for us, and we are committed to building something better.

Every member of our team, from leadership to volunteers packing Build-A-Queer Kits, shows up with empathy, urgency, and accountability. Our board provides strategic oversight and community-grounded guidance. Our volunteers contribute labor, outreach, and grassroots organizing that make our work possible.

We operate with a simple principle: nothing about us without us.
